Recovery Disk can't detect UEFI recovery point

GMul

I'm using SSR 2013 SP2 trial version on a GPT/UEFI computer.

When an image recovery attempted within windows, the available recovery points are listed as UEFI in the Image Firmware Type column.

However, when an image recovery is attempted using the Recovery Disk, the same recovery points show as BIOS based in the Image Firmware Type column.  Attempting to restore shows a cue stating:  Cannot restore BIOS based recovery points on UEFI based computers.  Please select a UEFI based recovery point".

Any ideas?

Thanks, Gary

There was an issue like this that was fixed in SP2:

http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH207176

Can you try the workaround mentioned in the article above to see if this helps?
