Regarding discovering specific machines on SSR 2011 ms

Just to clarify, on another post, i was told that rather than discovering through active directory or  through domain, to find specific machines from a huge list of machines, i could do import from file and find the specific one i'm looking for. Wasn't sure how to do this. I couldn't find the link or icon in the management conslole that said import from file.

Hm, looks like this option does not exist in SSR 2011 any more.

Click on 'Install the Symantec Management Agent'. From there, you can click on the first button on the left-hand side (Import computers from a selected file) directly beneath 'Rollout Agent to Computers'.
