Restore Anyware... but where is it?

Hi.

I've just purchased Symantec Backup Exec System Recovery 6.5 Desktop Edition. But i cant find the Restore Anyware fuction. And on the package it even advertises the fuction. I read a best practice about how to use Restore Anyware fucrion, and it say that, when you try to restore to new hardware, boot up from the SBESR cd, and choose Restore Anyware... but the fuction is no where to be found.. Do i have the wrong version (the package says Symantec Backup Exec System Recovery Desktop Small Business Pack and tha license says Symantec Backup Exec System Recovery 6.5 - Desktop Edition 1 User) or what else could be wrong?

Thanks in advance

Hi mate

there is a check box you need to check (restore to dissimilar hardware) This is the restore anywhere function

You wont get this option if the image was created with an unlicensed/trail version of the product

Mark is right, as long as you register it, the RAO is built into the program. And when you go to do the restore the option will be there.

Thanks,
