Hello,
I'm testing my recovery procedure of a SBS2008 system using the product formerly known as BESR :).
It hasn't gone smoothly.
When the system boots after the restore I get a message that says "winpeshl.exe The application failed to initialize properly. Press OK.
The system reboots after I press OK. The logon screen does come up but:
- The monitor’s resolution is wrong (drivers didn't load properly?)
- No Domain is available only a user and password (this SBS2008 is a domain controller) and my logon credentials fail.
I'm restoring to spare hard drives that I swapped in. I have been deselecting the "Restore Anywhere" option. Is that a mistake? I wouldn't think so since the hardware hasn't changed (except the drives).
I can put the original hard drives back in and change the backup procedure if necessary.
I wasn't expecting a problem with this any pointers?
Thanks,
Frank

Can you give me a walked through of the settings you use within the SRD at the time of your last restore? Though this is a bit older, have you reviewed this link: http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH88206
