Restore from Agent Backup Veriats 9.0

I am trying to run a restore from an agent backup of a Windows 2000 server. I keep getting the error:
"The data being read from the media is inconsistent
This happens from backups from new media. It restores 650 MB to 1.3 GB and then just fails. Any ideas?

What is the best way to restore from an agent backup to dissimilar hardware? I have tried LIve State but the server hangs on reboot with Live State Installed.

Hi Natasha,

You can not restore Windows 2000 server using BE SR 6.5 and backup of Remote BE 9.0 Agent. You can use BE 10d with IDR to restore from BE 9.0 for example. Better place to ask you question is BE 9 forum.

You can restore to dissimilar hardware only using LiveState Recovery 6 or Backup Exec System Recovery 6.5 with Restore Anywhere option and only if you created image - backup using one of this two products.
