Due to a series of blue screens of death, the contents of my harddisks were corrupted, and I had to rebuild my server. I used a Windows Backup to restore the complete server to the state it was in at the end of July. We use both Windows Backup (harddisk) and Backup Exec 12.5 (tape) to make backups, you can never be too sure, right?
My problem is that BE did make full backups on tape, the last one is dated August 14th. But when I enter this tape into the server, BE can only find the last backup dated July 17th, because it's database is older due to the rebuild.
How can I restore the contents of this tape, and make BE see that the backup is actually made in August instead of July?
