SATA/eSATA?

Even the name of this subforum is a symptom: Offsite Copy Feature (USB/FTP). No other hot pluggable technology like SATA/eSATA, no firewire, not even old-fashioned IDE racks. Only USB and FTP. Period. :(

 

eSATA drives and SATA racks are very popular today and I am surprised SATA technology is not fully supported yet in BESR 8. 

 

I programmed a few eSATA drives as off-site copy. V2I data files are there, but the drives do not appear in Tasks, Options, External Drive

You may want, within the BESR application itself, use the HELP | Send Feed back option to address this enhancement request. Secondly, join the BESR beta team by creating an account at the https://symbeta.symantec.com site. Finally, if this a pressing issue I would take it up with a Symantec Sales Engineer to address the enhancement request directly with product development.
