SBS 2008 Server, System Recovery 2010, 3TB USB drive

CP

Hi all,

This is might be a repeat questions.

I just bought a 3TB USB drive to replace our old 500GB USB drive to store all of the recovery points on System Recovery.

For some reason I'm not able to see the 3 TB drive on the System Recovery so I can use it as my destination.

We are using Small Business Server 2008 and not the R2 version if there's such a thing.

Does 3TB drive not supported?

Anyone has the workaround in regards to this?

Do I need to upgrade to SRS 2013?

Do I need to downgrade to 2 TB drive?

Any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Looks like I found the answer that 3TB is still not supported by SSR. :(

Will have to go buy a 2TB drive now or switch to Acronis? ;)

So you want to use this drive as your backup destination then? In which case, this IS supported:
