Dear all,
i tried to install the latest SSR 2011 management console (v10.0.1.4xxxx) French on a windows 2008 R2 SP1 enterprise server (French)
i plan to manage about 30+ desktop and some servers.
So far, i could install all the pre-requisites (i have no more red warnings) and the symantec install manager is up and running.
it tells me it detected SQL server 2008 express edition (v10.2.400.0), though i also have installed SQL express 2005.
but when i try to install any component (management solution, or altiris or whatever), i have the following errors during the NOTIFICATION SERVER install phase, database configuration page.
there is no BESOLUTION sql instance as i was told during setup.
if i try to use an existing instance, i have the following error showing up:
can't connect to SERVER\INSTANCE or connexion failure
incorrect syntax near 'entreprise'.
Unclosed quotation mark after the character string ')'
