I am running two Windows 2008 R2 Servers running Hyper-V and hosting varous VMs.
SSR 2011 is used to backup the hosts with a full VSS backup und generally everything works fine.
Lately I built a Exchange 2010-Cluster between two VMs and the VSS backup ocasionally initiates a failover within the cluster. The reason is clear - the VMs are saved to take the snapshot of the harddisks.
However - I do not want to have failovers or error messages within the cluster logs due to the backup of the VMs harddisks.
Does anybody has an idea how I can configure SSR top work with a Exchange clusters within VMs?
