Ok so I downloaded SSR from my veritas page as my license entitles...
Typically the old way to get SSR-MS installed is to launch SIM and it will show as available. Is there a documented procedure now going forward on how to install the "Management Piece" into Altiris?
Also I see the following from the SSR release notes - is this stating that you cannot use SSR to backup Windows 10? I thought this was the point of SP4?
[Note 1] Symantec System Recovery 2013 R2 Service Pack 4 Management Solution does not support Windows 10.
Thanks...
currently this is what is holding me up from going to the new version of Altiris.

Found this
How to Download/Install the Symantec System Recovery Management Solution (SSR-MS) 2013/2013 R2.
https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.TECH201523
lets walk through it
Download/install steps:
1-3. SIM already installed and same version 7.6.78
4. references SSR-MS2013 which is for Altiris 7.1 and not even the R2 version!
So these instructions are not correct and just trying to see where I am missing as this is holding up my upgrade project. Once I get this going in my DEV environment I can go forth an document/install and move on.
Thanks for any help.

Correct, at this time SSR does support Windows 10, but Win 10 is not supported in 'managed' environments using SSR-MS. Support for that is coming ...
