SSR Pcanywhere Detail Technical informations

Hi?

I want to deploy Lightsout function with Pcanywhere.

First, I installed SRD lightsout option with Pcanywhere enable ( maybe pcanywhere service auto start )

At the admin's system installed Pcanywhere ( 12.5.1 version ).

After lightsouts system booting, And try connect Pcanywhere.

" Unable to attach to specified device " messages are appeared.

There is no trouble shooting guide.

And anyone help me

I need More Detail information about SSR Lightsout with Pcanywhere.

SSR Version is 2011 ( 10.0.2 )

This error is specific to pcAnywhere, not SSR.

It could be caused by a number of reasons. I would suggest searching on that error on our knowledgbase:

Now I open the this case.

I think SRD is not running pcanywhere ( thin host )

SRD Boot system did not listening 5631,5630 port but listening 49160, 49161 ( what is this port? )

Pcanywhere using 5631,5630 port (default).

So I think 'Unable to attach to specified device' means can not comunicate.

And I have one more question,

manually start the pcAnywhere Thin Host from the network tab in the recovery environment.

=> I can't find pcanywhere option in the network tab. ( SRD CD or lightsout enviroment )

This is a problem with the 2011 SP2 (10.0.2) SRD. You need to use the 2011 SP1 (10.0.1) SRD until this is fixed.
