SSR recovery failed with missing MBR

Hi, we are testing SSR recovery on some Windows servers. The SSR is SSR 2013 R2 and the servers to recover are Windows Server 2008 R2 Std SP1.

In each of the servers, there is a 100MB system reserved partition and C drive. Both are on the same disk. We backed up the server and then tested to restore to itself. However, after the recovery, when the restored server boot up, it shows file \boot\BCD is missing. When I press Enter, the restore server will reboot.

I think this may be related to some options that we selected during recovery. I see there are three options to select: Restore master boot record, restore original disk signature, set drive active.

For the system reserved partition and C drive, which options should we select for the recovery?

if the error we saw does not related to these options, how to troubleshoot from here?

Thanks in advance.

You should not need to make any changes, just leave the options as they are.
