we see the status report "Attention Needed" for several PCs in our management console. There is an explanation for possible reasons for this report if I click on "Attention Needed". However, none of these possibilities seem to apply (i.e. the backup policy is assigned and has run recently on the same day, the computer missed none of the scheduled backups and there are recovery points for every partition on the same day). So why do I see this irritating report then?
I would suggest you to open a case with Symantec Technical Support so the problem can be investigated and reported to Engineering if that would appear to be an application problem
First thing I would suggest is to connect (i.e. RDP) to one of these machines and open up the local SSR console - does this also show 'Attention Needed'?
If no, it will confirm some sort of reporting issue with this machine.
