I have a Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition SP2 installed with SSR2013 and it was running fine. After upgrade to SSR2013 R2, the backup fails. I tried uninstall and reinstall but still the same error message. Appreciate any help.

I have restarted the server and it still doesn't work.
Anyway, I logged a case with Symantec and managed to resolved the issue:-
1. Right click C: drive and select properties
2. Select "Shadow Copies" tab
3. Select all the drives one by one and click Enable
4. Click "Settings" and select "No limit" under "Maximum Size:"
Thanks for your help!

Have you applied the latest VSS fixes from MS: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/940349

I have applied it before but it doesn't work.

OK, can you try restarting the VSS service provider just before running the backup?
