SSR2013 unable to connect when SEP 12 running

Hello,

Please could you point me in the right direct on what needs to be configured in SEP 12 to allow System Recovery console 2013 remote access to a client to configure backups etc.

I have dropped the firewall, turned off UAC and double checked the username and password still fails. If i try with a Win 7 machine and SEP not installed it connects straight away.

You need to add an exception for VPROSVC.EXE for incomming connections.

Nope still no joy, turned everything off except AV and Live update polices and still wont connect - this is very frustrating

What is the error message received while trying to connect to SSR ? What is the behaviour ? Does it hang or pop up an error message ?

When I try connection i have tried with both local user account and domain account accsss. Both pop up straight away with connection error box showing the possible causes.

This happens very quickly and just fails to connect.

Yes I have checked this, thou the firewall is dropped as well on testing but I have also just run the syhelp and reports all are ticked OK.

Sadly same thing, tried both domain and local accounts for logon.

Out of curiosity, is anything showing in the SEP Traffic log at the time the issue occurs?

have you created a exception of VProSvc and VProtray files under SEP ?

These are SSR files
