Hi,
I am installing Symantec BESR 2010 on Windows 2008 Server machine. The installation fails with following error:
Error 1935: An error occured during installation of Assembly Component.
{98CB24AD-52FB-DB5F-A01F-C8B3B9A1E18E}.
HResult: 0x80070422.

I have 5 Windows 2008 Server and it got installed on only 2 of them. All the Servers are exactly the same with same hotfixes and Services settings.

Please suggest.

Found the Problem. Windows Module Installer Service was disabled as a part of System Hardening. After starting the Service, the installation completed successfully/
Thanks.

Hey,

I have had issues with getting besr 2010 to deploy to other computers. I stumbled upon this and became
instantly dissapointed.

Also if your not trying to use the management solution like i was then go over to here and checke some of the notes out.

Maybe your .NET Framework Installation was the problem ? You could try to repair it: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306160

Thanks CSTech1 and Markus.
I am not installing the Management Solution.
I will repair the .NET Framework and try it once again.

Repair for .NET Installation did not solve the problem.
