Do the new version Symantec System Recovery 2013 for Linux support redhat 6.3? If not, when does the new release support?

Always refer to the SCL for questions such as this. http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH201318

As you can see, unfortunately it's not supported yet.

Currently SSR 2013 Linux does not support Redhat 6.3. The support is expected in next release/Service Pack -Thanks, Pravin

Considering update 3 was released last June (https://access.redhat.com/knowledge/articles/3078), I would expect support to be added in a service pack for SSR 2013.

I've asked the question internally and will let you know when I get a response.

The current plan (i.e. it could still change) is to add support for RHEL 6.3 in SP1 for SSR 2013.

Hope that helps.

SP1 should be available around April time although this is a tentative date so could change.

Hi what is the status of this? We purchased this product and can't backup updated RedHat servers 6.3 & 6.4. I would have reconsidered the purchase when the site stated RedHat 6 assumed it would include the latestest updates please resolve this issue. RedHat is a popular release support would be greatly appreciated in advance!

May support please email me when this service release is out? We would even like to use a beta release anything for our developer RHEL 6.3 or 6.4 servers.
