If you want to use Backup Exec System Recovery 6.5 for system protection (backup and restore of system - Windows) then you need 5 copy, for each server you want to protect/backup.
If you just (or also) want to backup data on that 5 servers, then you can use Backup Exec 10d (or soon, 11d) - you will need one Backup Exec Media Server that will do the backups to media (disk or tape) and 4 remote agents for backups of other 4 servers (backup of files). If you have Exchange or SQL or Oracle on those servers, then you will also need agents/options for that application/server (like Backup Exec MS SQL agent for backups of MS SQL). At the end, I want to mention to you Desktop and Laptop options that can be used for backups of workstations.
