Hello Support,
One more query for your help.
Has anyone used SSR 2013 on a Synology NAS device?
I noticed that the SSR does not remove the old backups and this fills up the storage.
I have to manually delete the old backups to create space for new backups.
What can i do to resolve this?
I greatly appreciate all the help from the forum.

Hello Chris,
Can I rename the extension of the .dbg files? It is not attaching to the forum.
only the .log attaches.

Hi Nene,
You don't have to delete manually old backups when using Symantec System Recovery (SSR). There is an option to configure the system to automatically optimize storage according an amount of GBs that you plan for each server that is backed up using SSR.
Tasks -> Manage Backup Destination -> Settings...
Here is an example:

hi Trace,
I also have this settings on all the servers i use SSR for. When i use external USB directly attached, this is effective but not on the NAS devices. I use domain credentials as well on the NAS.
