System Recovery 6.5 and Windows 2000 running Oracle

I have installed System Recovery 6.5 on a WInodws 2000 server running Oracle. Since then it will not do a soft reboot, hangs on the Windows 2000 server splash screen. Does anyone have any ideas? There is nothing in the logs. You can ping the server.
Any ideas would be awesome. When I can get downtime I will boot in VGA to get clues

Natasha,

Something could be conficting with BESR. To see if somethign is conflicting with us, you will need to copy MSCONFIG.EXE from a 2003 or XP machine to the 2000 Server. Then do the following:

Start, Run MSCONFIG and press OK.
Click on Selective startup and uncheck load start up items.
Go to the services tab and click hide all Microsoft services.
Check the box that says disable all.
Click ok and then ok.
Reboot.

If this resolves the issue, then something is conflicting with BESR. Either leave the machine in the currect state, and add in a few things as needed to see if the issue comes back.

Thanks,
