I wanted to know if "System Recovery Server Edition" would be able to P2P (copy physical server to another physical server) specifically Exchange 2007 Hub server, running Win 2008 enterprise edition SP2.
Solved! Go to Solution.

OK, I agree - I'd go for unsupported. --> http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH201318

Hi,
Doesn't appear to be supported at all. Only P2V and V2P conversions. Read below:

Thanks!

IT administrators can rapidly restore exactly what they need, when and where they need it–including entire physical and virtual machines to bare metal or dissimilar hardware as well as files, folders, and granular application objects
It says physical and virtual.

Yes exactly...physical-to-virtual, and virtual-to-physical. Not physical-to-physical!
Thanks!

For sure P2P works ! Just enable restore anywhere when restoring.

Would you know if Exchange 2007 on Win 2008 is supported? In the doc it only states Exchange 2007 on Win 2003.

I haven't purchased it because I am trying to see if Exchange 2007 on WIn 2008 box is supported. I would get the latest ver. In the doc it only states Exchange 2007 on WIn 2003.
