Hi,
I was using the SSR 2013 for backuk and restore.
It was successfully backup up the C: & D:
After restore the system is giving black screen. Saying that some drive is changed or some thing...
I have tried several ways to restore (date, syste and drive).
More details ...
Source system is a BIOS with RAID.
The target system is a UFI, but I have changed to BIOS in the BIOS setting.
And the system is DELL R720.
Any ideas..what could be the problem

Have you restored with restore anywhere enabled ? it seems that the RAID driver is missing.

Old and new system have the same RAID controller ?
05-28-2013 04:55 AM
Hi,
No...

And the restore didn't prompt you for the new raid driver ?
Is the MegaSAS driver fpr the old or the new RAID controller ?

Hi,
It does prompt for drivers but not for RAID driver..rather it looks for NIC (Broadcom).
I have also tried to create a customized recovery CD from the same system.(Installing OS on the same server).
Thanks.

The SRD wont help in the case. let me get back to my question: Is the MegaSAS driver for the old or the new RAID controller !
