Hi,
Is it possible to use SR 2013 on Microsft Hyper-V host server with some VM and recover the server with all the VM in place.
What if - the VM are in the local disk of the Hyper-V host server.
What if - the VM are inside the storage.
What if - the VM were in cluster.
what if - a LUN is mounted inside the VM.
Thanks.

Yes, you can use SSR 2013 to backup the entire host (including the volume(s) where the VMs reside). You can then restore the server in the same way you would any other physical server.
As for clusters, please take a look at the following which may answer your question:

Hi,
Thanks a lot.
I was trying a backup of a Hyper-V VM (Win 2008 R2 ) and want a restore in a 64bit physical system.
I guess the process is very much possible as for SR 2013 there is nothing to do where its a VM or a physical.
Is it possible technically.
Thanks
