Solved: UEFI and Firmware backups in SSR2013

I have found that some of my backups are listed as UEFI and some as Firmware Independent.

If I try to restore from UEFI it will not do so.

Can someone explain in simple terms what is happening (not a techie).

Dear Markus, my sincere apologies for not repling earlier.

I followed your thread, but it was not what I had a problem with.

Initially I had TWO types of backup showing.. Bios and Uefi and was not sure at that time, why.

The problem sorted itself out after a reinstall of windows and all backups are now Uefi.
