Unable to map drive within System Restore Disk Boot

I have just installed Symantec System Restore 2013 R2 and created a restore disk on DVD. When I attempt to test the restore function of the restore disk, I am unable to see the local network in the network tree that is presented under Map Drive. I have successfully pinged one of the computers on the network. I have tried setting my network adapter to both dynamic and to static ip addresses. All the computers on my network are Windows 7 Pro. All computers are visible in Windows Explorer when I boot normally. This is a hardwired peer-to-peer network within a workgroup.

I have attached a doc with screenshots mentioning the right way (and use IP addresses as mentioned in the KB as names do not get resolved)
