Unable to mount recovery points

On one of my servers, I am unable to mount any of the recovery points. The backups run fine with no errors but when I go to explore or recover files from an archive, I get a message "(Cannot mount the recovery point (xyz). Result (0xe98f0032 21 RPAM_ERR_MOUNT_FAILED Args [1] Arg (0xbab0006 0xebb01aa);). I was unable to find any information about this in the knowledge base. The only article I found on it expressed that it may be Endpoint's auto protect, but the System Recovery files are excluded.

Can you confirm the size of the volumes on this server?

Also, can you try and mount each recovery point individually from within windows explorer (right-click, mount). Which one gives an error?

Also, did you upgrade from 9.0.0 or 9.0.1 when going to 9.0.2?

There are two volumes at 250GB and 1.5TB.

I can mount the recovery points from windows explorer but I receive the same error number and cannot unmount them.

I upgraded from 9.0.1

Micrometric;

I'm currently working with a customer that is seeing similar issues to you. I would recommend that you open a case with support, if possible.

I am unable to open a case with support. The software version is NFR and we do not have support for it.

I found this in the vpro console log.

So the thing is to find out which DLL is missing.

Micrometric,

Are you only seeing this issue on one server? If yes, are you willing you uninstall BESR and then do a new install of 9.0.2 to see if this helps? I wonder if the problem is related to an upgrade from 9.0.1 to 9.0.2?

I did a complete uninstall and reinstall and it works now! Thanks for you help.
