Unable to recover file from Granular Restore

Hi,

I am using Backup Exec System Recovery 2010 Granular Restore to recover file. When I select file and click Recover I get the error:

"Unable to read the recovery point image from disk. (i) Check for network issues; (ii) Reload the recovery point".

Recovery points are on the same server where BESR 2010 is installed and there are no issues with network.

Also, if I use Recovery Point Browser to recover the same file, it works fine.

This will probably require a support case to figure out what is going on here.

However, what version of BESR are you using (including service pack level)? Check in Help/About for version details.

Could you login case based on this open thread or shall I contact tech support?

You need to test SP5 first. You can download/install using LiveUpdate or here:

http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH193127

A reboot will be needed once this is installed. If this does not help, I would suggest opening a case with support.
