Hi,
Im currently trying the free trial of system recovery to judge if it works better than another propect backup application im evaluating.
The option to create "invidividual folder for each backup" doesnt work. I'm backing up one drive on my computer and all the backups that run are all created in the default path defined e.g \\nas2\backups\Desktop
At that path i get the back up files created as "DESKTOP_C_Drive001.v2i" , "DESKTOP_C_Drive002.v2i", "DESKTOP_C_Drive003.v2i" etc.....
Instead each of those backups going into a unique subfolder at the path like
\\nas2\backups\Desktop\unique_folder_1\DESKTOP_C_Drive001.v2i
\\nas2\backups\Desktop\unique_folder_2\DESKTOP_C_Drive002.v2i
That is not happening. Thanks.
Also is there no way to make the backup date be part of the backup file name? That is an important feature missing?

The option you mention does not quite work in the way you are expecting.
What it should do is create a subfolder at the path specified - subfolder should be machine name. All backup files should then get placed in that new subfolder.

Thanks... Was really hoping the invidual folder per backup file existed.
