Use Management Solution to monitor remote servers

Hi All,

I'm running the latest and greatest System Recovery 2011 and Management Solution 2011.  Is there any way to add computers by IP address instead of scanning the domain?  I want to add my customers servers that are on different domains in remote sites but manage them from the Management Solution installed at my datacenter.

Does anyone know if this is possible? Thank you.

The easiest way to do this is to go into the 'Install the Symantec Management Agent' section and then choose 'Import computers from a selected file' option (below 'Rollout Agent to Computers'). This will then ask you for a csv file which should list the ip addresses for the machines you want to add.

If you only have a few machines, it might be easier to just add one by one using the ip address in the field directly below 'Rollout Agent to Computers'.
