Hi.
I'm trying out BESR2010 with our XenServer VMs to see how decent the product is at backing up/restoring a VMed server.
I backed up a VM and did a full restore over the top using the recovery CD, and it worked fine.
I then decided to blow away the 20GB hard drive partition that the server runs off of.
I created a new 20GB partition, ran the restore CD, and it looked like the recovery CD would take care of partitioning and formatting of the drive.
...Well I completed the restore, rebooted and the drive doesn't boot.
I booted up the recovery CD again and went to the command prompt, and I can browse the C: drive and all the data is there, its just not bootable.
Am I missing something to get the drive to boot up?
I dont have to partition and format the drive BEFRORE restoring the HDD partition, do I?
That wouldn't make sense.

Doh.. Forget it.
I forgot to Edit the Advanced options and restore the boot sector and stuff.
