VSR 21.0.0_57158 backup fail to start Error E7D1002A and E4F3000B

bokman
Level 3

So recently did a bare metal restore to new equipment, no real problems. Switch from Intel based to AMD based equipment. Once old windows drivers removed then installed/ updated to latest.

Started a new backup to my QNAP nas (same as it was before that I recovered from successfully.) Just created new location/folder for backup. Ran fine (latest version of 18). Then I get email about version 21 limited time ugrade so proceed.

Follow instructions to upgrade and let software uninstall old version during upgrade...last time I ever made a successful backup...Late March 2020.

I have removed by running version 21 uninstall script first reboot, then remove program using Settings/ Apps. Reboot then reinstall latest version again.

One error suggested EFI partion had not enough space confirmed 26mb used out of 96mb no problem needs 32mb free. Backed up to local HD instead of network location NG.

First I recieved this error:

Error EC8F17B7: Cannot create recovery points for job: My Computer Backup.
Error E7D1002A: Unable to create new '\\?\Volume{68cb7c1c-2752-e911-8dc5-661d6374445d}\.VTrack\{C2B3B6A5-B05B-E911-B5F6-B42E99ACF3BE}.csb'. (UMI:V-281-3215-6071)

Then changed from network name to IP address of NAS.

Now get this error:

Error EC8F17B7: Cannot create recovery points for job: My Computer Backup.
Error E4F3000B: PreSnap failed on volume \\?\Volume{68cb7c1c-2752-e911-8dc5-661d6374445d} . (UMI:V-281-3215-6071)

In the hidden V-Track folder on by Boot drive C: there is a {15001F81-B45B-E911-B5F6-B42E99ACF3BE}.csb so guessing one of the two partitions System partions are causing this problem. I am booting EUFI as I was before. I am creating backjobs the exact same way. Any suggestions welcome have tried more than listed but wanted to stay brief.

Running Win Pro 64 bit 1909 version 18363.720

Thanks
