Hello!

Sorry for my english, but could somebody explain me the information from SCL:

Windows Server 2016 is supported on Veritas System Recovery 16 SP1 Management Solution and later.

Can I install VSR16-MS on Windows Server 2016 or is it too much?

The SIM said something about arithmetric operation overflow. Maybe compare 16 < 16 or something like? :D

The statement from the SCL that you mention is specific to managed client machines, not the management server itself.

Installation of VSR-MS on Windows 2016 is not supported at the moment because Symantec do not currently support this. The Veritas solution relies on the Symantec Management Platform (SMP) and this is the current situation here:

http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO125454

As you can see, it says:

Note: Symantec Management Platform installation on Windows Server 2016 computers is not supported.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions.
