Why does doing an RDP to a server cause Offsite Copy to stop and start over again??

I have observed that while BESR is doing an offsite copy from one NAS to another, if I initiate an RDP session while the offsite copy is running, the offsite copy that was running stops, and then a new offsite copy starts.
This causes me to lose say 25+ gigs of data having been copied over to the second NAS and waiting for the next offsite copy to succeed.
This is extremely unreliable and inappropriate.
Why does this happen and how does one prevent it from being a problem??
Thank you, Tom

Do we get this same behavior if the Offsite storage location is a share on a Windows Server and not to a NAS device?  Is it any RDP session from any machine or from the machine performing the Offsite copy?

When I observed this happen, I was RDP'ing from my PC (locally) to the Win2k3 server that contains BESR, which does the backup to a NAS device (Infrant/Netgear ReadyNAS NV+), then does offsite copy to another NAS device (Infrant ReadyNAS 600).

The above-mentioned RDP is something I often do every day I'm at work.

I can try to see if this happens again, it may also have been a fluke etc. too.

Thank you, Tom
