after full backup recovery I get an immediate logout after login.

Windows xp. Hp5750 with Raid 1

I have done a full backup using BESR 2010 of all hard drives. When I restore I get no errors. Once recovered I can boot and get the login screen. But once I login the system immediately logs me back out. I have tried several different accounts and safe mode. All methods get the same results. Any ideas? This is a trial copy as I wanted to make sure that this would work with my raid configuration. I did not want to purchase until I confirmed that it works. Is the lack of the license creating this?

Do you have any WinPE boot devices such as a CD or USB key or USB hard disk which you could use to boot up your system and check whether the boot.ini file is correct for your current disk layout. This is unlikely to be anything to do with the licensing as there is no point making an eval version available if you cannot eval it properly. However, check the documentation for any limitation that might be applied.
