backup then recover, move from HDD to SSD - not booting up

good day,

i am a semi-frequent user of BESR 2010 , and also just bought BESR 2013.

i have a Dell latitude e5520 x64 and did download the BESR2013 x64 boot image.

attached an external usb drive and created recovery image of diag partition/system-os partition/ and FactoryRecovery partition

i swapped out my HDD and swapped in a SSD device.

then i boot from BESR CD and choose the 3 partitions to place on SSD drive

reboot...and system just doesn't boot from SSD...wants to NIC-boot or other, but no SSD

any obvious step(s) i am missing to get to use new / fast SSD and not have to do fresh install of OS and all my apps ?
