Backup jobs fail after changing network credentials password for the jobs network destination.
After changing the password for the network credentials used for the backup jobs network destination...backup jobs fail.
If we change the password back to what it was jobs run no problem?
The password must be changed every 60 days so we have to resolve this...
Has anyone had this problem?
Thanks!

have you changed the password in the backup job also?

Yes after the account password was changed in AD it was updated on each backup job (15+ servers). The backup destination is a ioSafe NAS 1515 only used for SSR backups. Anything else you can think of we can check? Thanks for the reply!

And the NAS is integrated into AD?

I'm looking into this, will get back to you soon.
Question though; how many machines are you backing up with SSR?

Hi - Yes the NAS is integrated into AD. Anything we could check on the NAS side? Thanks.

Nothing else needed because I can reproduce this issue.
The password change is not taking effect when editing an existing job. This appears to be a product defect so I am escalating it through to our engineering team for further investigation.
