Hi
i'm using backup exec system recovery 2010 on win 7 computers
i'm controlling the clients with the besr managment
for a few months everything worked coorectly
i set the clients to do a full backup after a quarter
and every once in a week to perform incremental backups
i noticed the clients started to do full backup every week
i checked the policy on the server everything looked right
i deleted all the backups from my nas , and reapply the policy
now only 1 computer acts right and do incremental backup (after one full backup,)
and the others still creating full backup every week
no errors or something like that in client logs
what could be the problem ? any idea
thanks

Try to adjust the schedule for the problematic jobs: Change the run time to to a different point in time e.g. if you doing you backup at 11 p.m., set it to 11:05 p.m. In most of the cases when I experienced this problems, this did it.

You could try and re create the backup job all together, then push out the new job to all the clients.

I'm having the same problem with a job that creates a base once a week and incrementals M-F

See this thread. I have a solution at the end.

Well AFAIK BESR will do Full once andthen Incremental as long as the check point date is not reached.

As long as all things run fine, but we have a couple of servers who resist to create a new full backup even the checkpoint date is due.

What is the check point date?

I assume checkpoint date is the date when the full backup should be done.
