"Error ED800012 The Internal Structure of the image file is invalid damaged or unsupported"

Getting this Error when trying to open this iv2i File.

need to be able to open this file (Archive Backup Data), 

any Ideas?

Unfortunately this generally means that the backup is corrupt.

Some questions:

1. What version/build of BESR are you using (check in Help/About)?
2. Where do you backup to (network share, NAS etc)?
3. Is it just this one incremental image that is corrupt (have you checked other backups in this chain)?

BESR version 8.5.7.36701 was used to backup the file.
Besr 2010 to try and open the file.

We Backed up the device to a NAS box copied of to a USB Disk after a bad block in one of the disks.

All backups open up until this file, but not after.

Everyone of my backup (9 month till today) are touched by this error.

I'm using BESR 9.x

the backup are on a local disk outside the OS disk.

No server till 2 day !

We are using a NAS and have the same problem.  What is the fix?  We have a user that needed a rebuild and now we have no data to rebuild their laptop.

We used BESR 2010 to backup/mirror a server; the backup process took many hours and the result was successful.

We are trying to do a granular restore option and I am getting the following error:

“Error ED800012: The internal structure of the recovery point file (CRC Validation or Frame Header) is invalid, damaged or unsupported.”

I am extremely concern because it is our only backup…your help will be much appreciated!!
