Creating Ransomware Resilience in the Multi-Cloud Era

In 2020, we have seen a huge increase in ransomware attacks – up 7x in the first half of the year. What is driving this dramatic increase? Well, it seems that COVID-19 is the root cause. As the pandemic took hold, many organisations dramatically accelerated their digital transformation initiatives, implementing new digital collaboration and communications platforms to enable their employees, suppliers, and customers to interact in remote-working environments. And yet, organisations are struggling to assure that  IT security measures keep up with this rapid increase in digitalisation.

It’s predicted that by 2021, an organisation will be subject to a ransomware attack every 11 seconds. This means no organisation is immune to a potential attack, which can affect your brand, revenue, and business resiliency.

Ransomware can immobilise 100s, even 1,000s of servers, and encrypt both your production data and your backup data. If this happened to your organisation, how quickly could you recover your data and your IT services? Do you have a robust IT resiliency plan in place? How often do you test it? To help you answer these questions, we are hosting a series of ransomware deep dive webinars across the globe over the next couple of months. Sign up for a local event, and learn how you can protect your organisation's data.

During the sessions, we will present the findings of our latest ransomware research, and cover:

  • Protection: how to take a comprehensive approach to data protection, to ensure your business-critical data, and your precious backup copies, are safe.
  • Detection: how to detect anomalous behaviour that is indicative of a ransomware attack, enabling you to mitigate threats before they can spread.
  • Recovery: the most effective strategies for rapidly recovering petabytes of data and 1,000s of systems, across physical, virtual, and multi-cloud environments.

So, don’t let ransomware make the first move on your organisation! Be prepared: have a comprehensive IT resiliency plan in place, and ensure you have the right capabilities to protect, detect, and recover from a ransomware attack.

I hope to see you on one of the Ransomware Resilience in a Multi-Cloud Era webinars. Register today:
