Today, I had the pleasure of presenting at Nutanix .NEXT 2018 in London on Transforming Enterprise Data Protection & Resilience for the Nutanix Platform, during my presentation I advised how Veritas can protect all of your data, whatever your choice of hypervisor. Improve performance and resilience of mission-critical workloads and how you can migrate workloads between platforms permanently or in the event of a disaster. And I concluded my presentation advising that digital transformation is essential if you want to stay in business in this digital age and to be aware of the transformation inhibitors that can slow or halt your digital transformation progress.
Our partnership with Nutanix is relatively new in that we formally announced the alliance at last year’s NEXT Conference in Nice, France here is a brief explanation on how the partnership will help joint customers benefit from greater protection for all virtualised workloads running on Nutanix, as well as the ability to move applications across clouds, while remaining open to any hardware, hypervisor or cloud. As part of the partnership, Veritas is now certified to protect workloads virtualized on AHV, Nutanix's native hypervisor. Through NetBackup, joint customers will also now be able to optimise and protect the movement of data and workloads faster within the Nutanix Enterprise Cloud or to other public, private or hybrid cloud environments.
