NetBackup doesn't use its own init script since it uses xinetd. In /etc/xinetd.d, you should see bpcd, bpjava-msvc, vnetd and vopied. These are the NetBackup scripts.

AFAIK, no. We have a disk staging storage unit and didn't purchase any additional license. Just the master, clients and oracle rman.
