Clint M. Sand is an Information Security leader with extensive experience in multiple security domains for over 15 years. In his current position at Symantec, he leads Global Cyber Readiness & Response, an organization responsible for providing Symantec customers the security intelligence and consulting services that help them predict, prepare, detect, and respond to modern threats by increasingly sophisticated attack actors. Before this role, Mr. Sand led the Security Business Practice, an organization that provided deep technology specialization in support of Americas field sales efforts, strategic guidance to our security business unit leaders on security market trends and opportunities, and increased security industry visibility for the Americas. As part of this role, he functioned as the “Security CTO” for the Americas and was responsible for strategic CISO-influence and delivery of Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assessment, and Security Program Assessment services. Prior to these leadership roles, Mr. Sand obtained Distinguished Systems Engineer status, an honor bestowed to Symantec’s top systems engineering talent with a proven track record for innovation that impacts overall company direction.
