I have never been able to successfully delete any reports I've created in OpsCenter. After I click Delete Report, the page refreshes and the report is still there. Does anyone have any ideas why that would be, or have had any success of their own?
On a client, is this service necessary? What does it do? We were advised by a tech at Symantec that only media servers needed it so we've had it disabled on all of our clients. I'm getting the feeling that that was incorrect advise...

NetBackup 6.5.1: If I expire all images on a tape, should it automatically expire the tape or do I have to run bpexpdate? I'm asking because I did, and it didn't. Message Edited by Methos8 on 02-04-2009 12:23 PM
Adding an asterisk (*) to the drive exclusion will solve that issue. For example change the exclusion of "C:\" to "C:\*"
This appears to be a new issue with NetBackup 7.0.
I'm having this same issue. I'm restoring to a NetApp filer. Although NetBackup shows the tape being loaded and read, the ndmp log from the filer seems to suggest it's not finding the tape:
