HI, Was there any change on the hardware. It can be that the barcode reader on de robotic tapelibrary must being changed from barcode read left to right or vice versa. This is a setting on the robotic library. Dany

I suspect that you are using Backup EXEC 11D version 7170. Can you tell me the version of your exchange, like Exchange 2003 or 2007. Did you redeploy your agents after the upgrade. Dany

Ken, Check if you have used symantec tapdrivers for the new drive (not the microsoft drivers). Check also thad the service "Removable storage" is disabled. It is possible that NT backup for windows is playing whit this drive. Dany
