We have an existing Netbackup master server ( Solaris ) with NB 6.5.3.1. We want to migrate it to a different solaris host and want to keep the existing conffigurations intact. Can you please suggest the steps to go ahead with the plan . Thanks

Yes ..I am doing restore from the BAR window of the master server and the client name is correct as I am selecting it from the drop down list .

I am restoring it from the master server only ..but its giving me the error ...backups are running fine for the client with the same configuration

I also have one way to do it..please suggest if thats right : Backup the catalog to tape Installl fresh netbackup on the new host recover the catalog using bprecover command Will that work ?
