To maintain a measure of simplicity to our jobs, I have set all daily jobs to simply overwrite the tape. We use a two week rotation, and so should have plenty of point-in-time availability throughout the month. Thanks for your help!

I'm more familiar with CPS myself, but I would definitely suggest ensuring all related services on the servers are up and running. Perhaps cycle the agent service (rxservice.exe). I know under CPS it has a habit of hanging up once in awhile.
