Our JournalVaultStore database is 7.2 GB and takes forever to open the saveset table. What is your opinion on adding an additional Journal Vault Store and partition and how would I go about it?

Yes, we're running 10.0.1 now. Since it seems to be a known bug, I'll just keep an eye on it and delete them if I have to. Hopefully they will fix it in the next update.

We use Data Protection Manager (DPM) which is continuous so files never enter an official "backup mode".

Thanks for the quick response. The Index Administration Task schedule is set to run 24x7 and has a status of "Processing" (Attached). I'll check out DTrace and see if I can decypher it's output.
