Hi,
I want your advice on why bpdbjobs reported a negative number for transfer rate. I ran `/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/bpdbjobs -all_columns` on Solaris 10 10/09 s10x_u8wos_08a X86 (SunOS 5.10 Generic_141445-09 i86pc i386 i86pc) for a part...
Hi,
Please confirm whether my interpretation is wrong or if I misconfigured NetBackup or if NetBackup 6.5 2009.11.06 suffers a bug. I noticed something unexpected in the event log reported by /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/bpdbjobs running on S...
Hi,
What is the most elegant command, using bp command line tools, to list the statuses of all slots in the cartridge access port (CAP) a.k.a. Mailslot a.k.a. media access port? I want to know the number of slots in the CAP, and for each slot: ...
Hi,
What is the most elegant, efficient way, using bp command line tools, to take a list of policies, for example the output of bppllist, and calculate "Last Successful Job Ended" for each?
Thanks,
Keith Cascio

@Andy Welburn
Thank you for the suggestion. Am I correct that, in order to check, I would need to know somehow the moment that an in-progress job enters a state that results in bpdbjobs reporting negative rate numbers, then immediately fire up Admi...
Answering my own question, this seems to work (on Solaris 10):
solaris10$ echo 2 | sudo /opt/openv/volmgr/bin/robtest 2>&1 | sed -n 's/^.*robotic path = \(.*\)$/\1/p'
/dev/sg/c0tw500104f0007bf6cfl0
Bill,
Thank you sir, that helps. I would like a hint about a generic command to identify the file system path to the robot zero device. Idea?
Thanks,
Keith Cascio
Marianne,
Thank you. It is useful to have confirmation that tldtest is the only solution (I found references to it while web searching, but did not know if it was the only answer). Is there a generic command I can use to get the file system device...
