Could you please tell me if SSR 2013 supports the backing up of HyperV 2012R2 cluster shared volumes?
It seems to detect them but fails with a 'post snap failuire' during the backup job.
Could anyone clarify this question on licencing.
I have a number of Symantec System Recovery 2013 Server Licences. Could you please confirm how this is licenced for HyperV VM's.
Does one licence on the host cover SSR being installed on all ...
Am I right in thing that Backup Exec 2010 R3 will function with a HP LTO-6 Ultrium 6250 tape drive? I have checked on the HCL and it is listed. Am I likely to get the improved speeds over a LTO-5 drive using Backup Exec 2010 R3.
Is there a way to restore Exchange Calender and Contacts from Symantec System Recovery? The granular restore option restores the majority of the mailbox but doesnt include Calender or Contatcs?
Is there a way to set the minimum run time of a job before it fails under an hour?
In 2010 you were able to set a job to fail after a run time 30 minutes etc, however the new version seems to be only in hours and 1 hour the minimum time?
Where does this leave us from a Licencing point of view?
If we require to Granular restore VM's do we need a licence for each of them? Or would a licence just on the host cover all vm's within it even if thet each had SSR intsalled?
